Tasting Notes
Robert KarlssonQuite a bit of wine cask influence, port/sherry style. A bit nervous and edgy. Needs time to settle down. Good dark nose. Taste is not SO dominant on sherry as expected. Rather quite laid-back, with raisin and darker style spices mainly in the aftertaste. Improves with time.
Oliver KlimekColour: Medium amber - Nose: Stewed apples, melon, toasted hazelnuts, vanilla, polished wood, hints of nutmeg. - Palate: Honey, stewed apples, ripe banana, vanilla, hints of buterscotch and nuts, hints of nutmeg and cardamom. - Finish: Long, fruity and slightly spicy. - Overall: A very well-balanced fruity dram with no disturbing notes. It does not take much water, though.
